Born in Istanbul in 1966 Nurettin Hüsnü Çep received his bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Istanbul University in 1988, and completed his master's in Polymer Technology at Loughborough University UK.

He started off his career at the R&D department of Kayseri Air Supply Maintenance Tire Workshop, where he met Tarık Altuncu. After that, he spent 4 years as Technical Manager of Kobra Kaucuk, and 9 years as Chairman and General Manager at the same company.

He was the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Elaskom Rubber Metal Industry and Trade Limited Company for 4 years. Since 2009, he has been a member

of the Board, and the director for R&D. In fact, he is considered the genius behind the legendary Sampa rubber compound, an area of expertise that is passed down in the Çep family.

He is also a great cinema and jazz enthusiast.
