Due to the operation of propeller shaft bearings in hot & open environment, chemical and thermal resistance is required.
For the rubber bearing, propeller shaft will be produced with a material which has a high chemical (resolvent, lubricant, dirt etc.) and thermal resistance. Chloroprene (CR) rubber is preferred.
Without compromising on the elasticity, the operating duration of the product is now longer since a rubber part used in the vehicle is more resistant against the environmental conditions.
The intensity has been tested with a camera and strain gauge to be able to analyse the problem.
